SighâŚ
People have things to do . Personal stuff, useful stuff or maybe watch porno movies . You canât expect people to try your game because you think it is awesome .
And even if they try your game, maybe they are not in the mood of giving any feedback .
I think youâve been told that before, but you are being annoying, and that will definately keep people from trying your game, or trying it with the pure intent of giving bad feedback .
Have a nice game made, and you wonât need to ask for feedback . If no one gives you feedback, maybe something is wrong . Compare your games with others that got huge ammounts (?) of feedback to see what is missing in yours .
Good luck .
Was just about to. Oh well. Donât you think your continuous demand for feedback hurts your reputation? I, for one, tested your game a few days ago, and didnât think there was anything to report: I could walk around, shoot a handful of enemies that didnât do anything, and that was it. Maybe if your game had more features, people would talk about those features.
What Riven said.
Although if you want the sort of brutally honest opinion that we like to get on the Indiegamer forums, I can give you four syllables: itâs a bit poo. And an elaboration on that would amount to a painful assassination of your whole spirit and enthusiasm - are you ready for that yet? I can see youâre heading in the right direction mind - you just have so far to go you arenât even aware how far away the goal is yet.

I just had a glimpse at your 50 latest posts - I could not spot a single âvalueableâ post (posts that are interesting for others to read or giving help orâŚ)
Maybe think about increasing your own post quality (not quantity!) instead of whining.
Ok, but try not to use negative pseudoinsulting words like âwhiningâ when trying to help people self-improve.

As a side note, I believe that people can be willing to offer feedback in return to asking but only if you ask in the right way at the right time. For example on another forum I frequent there was a link section where you can link to interesting things online, but people rarely used it. So the admin added a feature to the mudchat where every time you posted a link a gif would popup suggesting you add it to the link archive. Overnight loads of people posted loads. Itâs an example of making just a suggestion (and not telling), at the right time (just as they are still thinking about it) and in a very unobtrusive way (so they donât mind it popping up, even if they chose to always ignore it).
I canât think of any great ideas for your game but you could try building a feedback form right into the game or have mentions pop-up in the corner right after people have completed sections.
Currently you are making a topic complaining that you are not receiving feedback. Making a topic asking for feedback would be better then this!
How about someone builds a spam-bot that automatically posts generic-but-encouraging replies to threads in the Showcase forum?
âCool game!â
âKeep up the good work!â
âVery addictive!â
âCanât wait to play the final version!â
âLoved the retro graphics!â
âNeeds more weapon upgrades!â
etc.
Erm, that is if such a thing isnât running already. :persecutioncomplex:
I donât see why you are complaining. You got more then 30 replies on your game, thats more then most ppl get on their game in Showcase.
+1
⌠and PLEASE get rid of the graphic sig

I say everyone starts using really large annoying sigâs. Just for princec and Hansdamf
edit: preferably large animated gifâs.
